Crusaders Quiz Night- Tuesday 28th February
You are all cordially invited to another Crusaders Social night. After training on Tuesday 28th Feb we will be hosting a quiz in the Vintage Inn (about 200 metres from the Stadium). So whether you are on your own or not please come along. We will be organising the teams of four ourselves on the night so that you get to know and meet new people. Ray D’Arcy 5k Fun Run
Congratulations to all the 800 plus participants who ran the Ray D’Arcy 5k Fun Run today down in a sun drenched Irishtown Stadium.
Plus a big thank you to all the Crusaders AC stewards/volunteers and the Gardaí and Dublin City Council who all assisted in making this event a great success.
Volunteers wanted to help steward the Ray D’Arcy 5k Fun Run
Crusaders Athletic Club have agreed to host one of the Ray D’Arcy 5k Fun Runs on Friday 8th April 2011 at 1pm. We are looking for some volunteers to help steward the Run, help with setting up and give out numbers etc.

How to improve your running
For anyone interested, next Tuesday Michael McGovern (Head Coach Crusaders) is giving a talk on ‘How to improve your running’. Some do’s and as importantly don’ts will be unveiled and some secrets for running success.
Crusaders in Africa
Last spring, Crusaders’ Markus Roessel and Uli Fluhme (ex-Crusader, now based in NYC) decided to travel to Iten in Kenya where many of the top Kenyan runners live and train. We were fascinated by the fact that a small village hosts a majority of the world’s fastest runners. At the same time, we started the website www.mzungo.org to raise the profile of Kenyan and other distance runners.
