Dublin City Marathon 2011
Congratulations to the many Crusaders who turned out for yesterday’s Dublin City Marathon, there were many personal bests set despite the wind and drizzle and at least as many Crusaders lined the streets to support. Well done everybody and enjoy a deserved rest before you again start to think about the next race.
First male Crusader was Rob Cross in 2:50:10 with Aoife Quigley first lady in 3:26:05. Special mention needs to go to Torben Dahl who recorded a new PB only eleven days after winning the polar Circle Marathon. Perhaps the cold conditions aided recovery, we must investigate that further. In addition, long standing member Alan O’Keefe became the latest addition to the sub-3 hour club.
