Dublin City Marathon

There were perfect racing conditions, record crowds and some terrific results by Crusaders at the 31st Dublin Marathon on the Bank Holiday Monday.  Gar Coughlan lead the Cru home finishing 57th overall in an impressive time of 2.38. 53.  Jerome Dupuy was next home finishing in 3.02.14.  Jerome was followed by Justin Keatinge who knocked 14 minutes of his previous PB finishing in a time of 3.14.14.

Not to be out-done Aoife Quigley knocked a staggering 25 minutes off her 2009 marathon time finishing well under the 3.30 mark in a time of 3.24.40. Next home was new Crusader Derek O’Doherty finishing in 3.59.41, followed by Maragret Glavin in 4.07.54 and Noelle Rohan in 4.15.19. Well done to everyone and enjoy well deserved rest and recovery now!
