Another great half-marathon weekend for the Cru

Torben at the Berlin Marathon

Crusaders athletes were in action both in the Dublin and Kilkenny Half-Marathons and the highlights included individual victory for newly joined Crusaders Torben Dahl, and a 16. placed finish and seven minute PB for Rob Cross in Dublin. Torben, the third Dane to run for Crusaders in recent years (it must be the colours), battled Irish international duathlete Keith Heary (St. Laurence O’Tooles) for most of the race and needed a 77-minute run for the win (a five minute PB).
Our ladies also did themselves proud with Aoife Quigley thirteenth woman overall in 91:16 and Deirdre ni Chearbhaill recording 93:23.
