Under The Radar...

Somehow the Crusaders news room completely missed out on some huge early season news. For this, the hard-working journalists here would like to apologise. Especially to those four fine Crusadesr athletes who were part of the Irish European Cup Mens Team who earned promotion from the 2nd League Group A last this month. Thomas Chamney, Antoinne Burke, Ian McDonald and Steven Flemming all travelled to Banská Bystrica and scored valuable points for the team in the 800m, 400mh & 400m relay, 110mh and Long Jump respectively. Well done & congratulations.

IMC Races June 17th

The Irish Milers Club are holding more race in Irishtown stadium on the 17th of June. See message from IMC Administration below.

Dear Athlete

Following on from the great success of our last meetings in Irishtown and at the Irish Schools last weekend, the Irish Milers Club will host another series of races in Irishtown on June 17th. The meeting will include a M1500m and M800m as well as W800m / W1500m with A, B and C races as necessary. We have yet to hold a proper women's race due to lack of entries so we would ask all coaches and athletes to become involved in this meeting and help us get together quality women's races.

The 800m may suit athletes as a sharpener between the BMC Watford and Solihull meetings if you are running 1500m's there and the 1500m may be useful for those athletes looking to stretch the legs if racing the 5k the week after in Solihull.

Entries are now open and all entrants should send their details including the following to Des Lynch (087-9547762 / des.lynch@ireland.com) before June 14th:

Name:
Distance:
Personal Best:
Seasons Best:
Email Address:
Mobile Number:
Time required:

Entries received after midnight on June 14th will not be accepted under any circumstances. Please keep an eye on our new website for more information www.irishmilersclub.com.
