Weekend's Indoor Results
Thomas Chamney opened his indoor at his Collegiate Teams home meet, The Meyo Invitational. The Notre Dame team faired well at this meeting and our own man ran a personal best time in the 800m to finish 2nd to Peter Etoot. Thomas is coming off a fantastic breakthrough year in
2005 where the highlight was most defeintely his 5th place finish at the European Under 23 Championships. He managed to consistently break 1.50 last season and has begun 2006 in a fashion simmilar to if not mush improved to last. His 1.48.62 takes 10 hundreths off his personal
but rememeber this, it is his opening race. The next few weeks auger well for the young Crusader.
Ian McDonald is also away stateside training with clubmate and vastly experienced Olympian Peter Coghlan. The 110m hurdles looks set to be a big event for Crusaders this year as new recruit from Slovakia Slaven produced a solid opening race of 8.34.

Well done to the two lads at the weekend but could we bring back the old message board please?
It's hard to keep up to date with what's going on in the club these days without it and some notable peformances so far this indoor season have been missed in its absence (e.g. Steve Fleming's 7.20m jump last weekend in Cardiff).
It was a great outlet for members to stay in touch and have a bit of banter with each other but now the site seems a bit 'dead' without it.
We had it for years with very few problems so why let one or two juvenile boneheads bring it down?
There's better ways of dealing with unwanted posters.
