BBC SPORT | Athletics | GB men earn relegation reprieve: "'As the newly-built venue for the 2006 European Cup has a nine-lane track, the seventh-placed men's team from the 2005 European Cup, the team of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is also qualified for next year's competition on 28-29 June 2006.'"
